Before graduation, she started a free Spanish-speaking acupuncture clinic at Instituto Familiar de la Raza in San Francisco’s Mission District. Through her NGO, The Common Ground Collective, she has worked with rural communities in Mexico and Puerto Rico to introduce Chinese medicine and revitalize their own traditional healing arts.
